What is the best washer and dryer available? Does anyone have a subscription to consumer reports?

Our washer just pooped out on us and we were thinking about getting a new set of stackable washer and dryer. I was just wondering what the best bang for your buck was. I don't want to spend the money on a subscription of consumer reports!

Do you mean in performance or durability? In general, top loading Kenmores or Whirpool machines are the most durable and their performance is quite satisfactory.

This is based on Consumer Reports latest test and data.

If you don't want to subscribe to Consumer Reports, you can go to the local library and they will have a copy of all of the recent Consumer Reports.

i would say go for the LG we have some and u cant even hear them running or any thing they are so quiet . why sister had a kenmore and it quit working a few times she had to get it fixed to keep on useing it
